Capacity Building Trainings: Energy Poverty

EU4ETTR held 2 trainings on ‘Energy Poverty’ on 6 and 27 September 2023! 

In the trainings, Expert Mr. Arif Künar talked about Energy Poverty and Energy Accessibility and mentioned the points to be considered in SECAPs. One of the most important issues mentioned by Mr. Künar was that local governments should aim for a return to proper and efficient energy use and focus on eradicating energy poverty rather than helping energy poverty in order to ensure the sustainability of energy access.

In the second training, municipalities shared their Energy Poverty Project Proposals. Afterwards an interactive training was held with Expert Mr. Arif Künar on how to improve and implement project ideas.
