Call for Integrating circularity in LCA-based modelling frameworks for renovation of buildings (Built4People Partnership)
The call focuses on accelerating the use of circularity strategies in building renovations to reduce resource use, life-cycle energy consumption and GHG emissions. It supports the development and real-life application of integrated circularity and life-cycle assessment frameworks to enable net-zero whole-life carbon buildings.

Scope. Projects should advance building-scale modelling approaches that capture the complexity of circular renovation strategies and long-term changes in building systems. The approach should be validated across different buildings and climatic contexts, aligned with EN 15978 and EU assessment frameworks, and support reliable decision-making for circular and low-carbon renovations.

Eligible applicants. Legal entity (including from Türkiye).
Key requirements. Demonstration of innovative low‑carbon materials, integration into real construction or renovation projects, measurable lifecycle emissions reduction, circularity, scalability across European regions, contribution to EU climate and building‑renovation targets.
Funding & duration. Funding rate up to 70% for profit entities and up to 100% non-profit entities under Horizon Europe rules. Project budgets: 27 mln. Eur, reflecting large‑scale robotic and automated construction demonstrators. Project duration: 36–48 months.
