🌍💡 EU4 Energy Transition: Western Balkans and Turkey Covenant of Mayors - 7th Local Steering Committee Meeting Successfully Held! 💡🌍
Today, the 7th Local Steering Committee Meeting of the EU4 Energy Transition project was completed with great success! Mr. Christian Ballaro (EUD to Turkey, Energy, Environment and Climate Change Program Manager), Ms . Rasa Suraučienė (CPMA Vice President) and Mr. Bülent Özcan (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation) attended this important meeting.
During the meeting, participants such as Ms. Daiva Matonienė (CPMA Turkey Project Team Leader), Ms. Aysen Erdincer (Head of Environment and Climate Change Department, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality) , Mr. Ertuğrul Selçuk Güldüler (Deputy Mayor of Bağcılar Municipality) , Mr. Özcan Caymaz (External Relations Coordinator, Melikgazi Municipality) and Mr. Hüseyin Ayvacı (Head of Strategy Development Department, Çorlu Municipality) shared the achievements of the project so far, challenges faced and future goals.
This meeting was an important milestone for the future achievements of the EU4 Energy Transition project. Local governments' contribution to the fight against climate change has made strong progress towards achieving energy efficiency targets.
