Kınalı Eller Kadın Kooperatifi was established in 2020 in Beypazarı with the aim of promoting the economic empowerment of local women and building a solidarity-based production model. Its founding was shaped by a desire to transform women’s labor through collective support, especially in the aftermath of past hardships.

Operating in the fields of food production, handicrafts, and traditional products, the cooperative focuses on creating employment, contributing to the local economy, and supporting women's participation in socially secured work life.

With a growth target of 40% for the year 2025, the cooperative aims to restructure its production processes according to circular economy principles and place sustainability at the core of its operations. Practices such as waste reduction, efficient use of natural resources, and production using locally sourced materials reflect its commitment to a climate-friendly model.

The mission of Kınalı Eller Kadın Kooperatifi is to support the economic and social empowerment of women while generating local solutions to the climate crisis and promoting a nature-compatible production approach. The cooperative advocates for sustainable development, gender equality, and environmentally responsible production as interconnected priorities.

Kınalı Eller Kadın Kooperatifi aims to make its production processes not only economically but also ecologically sustainable. Its climate-focused efforts emphasize the following key areas:

  1. Circular Economy Practices
Production models based on reuse and recycling are being developed, especially in food production and handmade products, with the goal of minimizing waste.

  2. Carbon Footprint Reduction
By using local raw materials, the cooperative seeks to reduce emissions in logistics and adopt low-carbon production practices.

  3. Nature-Based Solutions
Through activities such as gardening, drying, and composting, nature-aligned production systems are being implemented. Efforts are also underway to develop models that enhance climate resilience in rural areas.

  4. Women’s Access to Climate Finance
To facilitate the participation of women’s cooperatives in green transition projects, the cooperative prepares proposals for national and international climate funds and engages in capacity-building for access to sustainable finance.

  5. Community-Based Climate Projects
Educational programs and hands-on initiatives aimed at raising climate awareness—particularly among women and youth in local communities—are being carried out.

  6. Climate-Friendly Food Production
Products are developed using local ingredients and are vegan, additive-free, and low in sugar, supporting both healthy consumption and low environmental impact.
