Bolu Municipality seeks to enhance the infrastructure of solid waste recycling facilities to promote the efficient use of resources and implement best practices in waste management. The parks and gardens in the city are being equipped with systems designed to enhance environmental resilience and create carbon sink areas, in line with the goal of adapting to climate change.

- By-products of the Wastewater Treatment Facility: Preparations have begun for the facility to generate energy from sludge waste.
- Solar Power Plants (SPP): A project is being prepared for the construction of additional facilities to supplement the existing SPPs.
