With the motto of "Think Globally, Act Locally," Çine Municipality believes that the solution to global problems should start locally. Therefore, they want to take decisive steps to combat climate change and ensure a sustainable environment. To recreate their city as more livable, cleaner, greener, climate-resistant and low-carbon, more fair, egalitarian, focusing on people and nature, with contemporary, modern infrastructure and superstructure, with high social opportunities and with an approach that leaves no one behind, they aim to use their resources effectively and efficiently.

Ongoing Projects:
- "We Join Our Forces for a Green Future" Project: They are carrying out this project in the City Twinning-II Green Future twinning program. In this project, Croatia's Karlovac Municipality, Lithuania's Taurage Municipality, and the Environmental Energy Association are their project partners. The project aims to share experiences with partners through climate change and environment-based actions, to learn from each other, to raise awareness among citizens by emphasizing climate change through campaigns, and to combat climate change and improve energy efficiency. They aim to provide awareness training to schools, farmers, housewives, and municipal personnel on consumer awareness, renewable energy, waste disposal in agriculture, and renewable energy in agriculture. With this project, they will also prepare SECAP, sign the mayors' agreement, establish a commission to combat climate change in the parliament, establish a Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate to improve the capacity of the municipality, make study visits with partner municipalities, and establish a network by making sister city agreements at the end of the project.

- "Steps from Çine for Our World" Project: This project involved awareness raising and training on Water and Waste Management in EU Standards, drip irrigation system applications in the pilot greenhouse, study visits, campaigns, and experience sharing.
