Kula Municipality

According to some records, the establishment of the Kula Municipality dates back to 1866, while other records indicate the year 1877. The first municipal building was constructed in 1903.

Guided by a vision of becoming a pioneering municipality that ensures continuous urban development; contributes to education, culture, sports, tourism, health, and commercial life; provides effective solutions for sustainable development; encourages public participation; protects cultural heritage; and creates new employment opportunities, Kula Municipality embraces a mission of delivering fundamental municipal services that meet the shared civil needs of its citizens.

In addition, it aims to effectively support economic development through initiatives such as enhancing commerce and trade, thereby transforming the district into a peaceful and prosperous place to live.

To achieve this vision and mission, the municipality works to utilize sustainable and renewable energy sources, ensuring clean air, reduced costs, and the provision of high-quality public services.

Kula Municipality aims to contribute to the transformation of energy systems, accelerates the transition within the energy sector, increases environmentally friendly energy production, and moves toward a low-carbon energy future.

In this context, priority is given to solar energy projects, with active support for the financing of solar energy, the development of photovoltaic systems, solar farms, and solar energy initiatives.
