Nilüfer is a municipality and district located in Bursa Province, Turkiye. Covering an area of 552 km², it has a population of 536,365 as of 2022. The district was established in 1987 and is one of the seventeen districts in Bursa Province, primarily serving as a residential development area to meet the housing, industrial, and commercial needs of the expanding Bursa region.

Misi village and Gölyazı district are particularly rich in ancient settlements, with history dating back to the 6th century B.C.
