Troya Environmental Association, founded in 2009 in Çanakkale, is a civil society organization working on climate action, renewable energy, environmental justice, and social transformation. It aims to support grassroots movements, promote energy democracy, develop nature-based policies, and strengthen citizen participation. Troya also implements European Union projects, focusing on the promotion of energy cooperatives, environmental education, and capacity-building activities related to climate policy.
