Covenant of Mayors: 2023 Assessment Report Released!

GCoM brings together more than 11,300 cities and local governments from Europe and its neighboring countries. This comprehensive report, prepared by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission, analyzes around 1,800 action plans targeting 2030 and beyond, highlighting emission reduction goals, climate risks, and planned policies. It also presents emission forecasts for 2030 based on 670 action plans.

Congratulations to the JRC team for this excellent report! They have once again demonstrated the crucial role of cities in the fight against climate change.
