Turkish-Lithuanian Green Diplomacy Study Visit to be Organized in Lithuania Within the Scope of Türkiye-Lithuania Cooperation on Sustainable Policies!

The study visit, scheduled for 21-24 July 2024, offers valuable practical experience and networking opportunities for Türkiye's Covenant of Mayors municipalities and other stakeholders, aiming to support the implementation of SECAPs and share policy creation examples for the Paris Agreement.

Participants include representatives from the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye, the Marmara Municipalities Union, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with Covenant of Mayors municipalities. The visit aligns with Türkiye's Paris Agreement commitments and 2053 Net Zero targets, and strengthens collaboration with the EU4ETTR project. Meetings with Lithuanian counterparts will provide insights and cooperation opportunities in the transition to sustainable energy systems.
