🌍 Taking the First Step for Climate Action with Nusaybin Municipality! ♻️

An introductory meeting was held between the MLGP4Climate Platform and the Nusaybin Municipality. As an active actor in the fight against climate change, Nusaybin Municipality was introduced to the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy (GCoM), and the opportunities provided by MLGP4Climate Platform were shared.

With over 13,000 signatory cities, GCoM plays a crucial role in strengthening local governments' climate actions. This meeting with Nusaybin Municipality marks another milestone in expanding the climate action network among Türkiye’s local governments.

Joining GCoM and preparing a SECAP are key steps for municipalities in tackling climate change. Let’s continue working together for more sustainable and resilient cities! 🌱✨
