Within the scope of combating climate change, a series of comprehensive climate action initiatives are being implemented in our district. To mitigate pollution in coastal areas and marine environments, organized waste collection activities are regularly conducted. Furthermore, tree planting campaigns are carried out to promote cleaner air and enhance urban greenery.
During public events such as concerts and festivals, citizens are encouraged to assess their carbon footprint through QR code systems, thereby increasing environmental awareness and individual accountability.
Recycling is also supported through the placement of waste separation containers throughout our streets, facilitating proper waste management and contributing to the circular economy.
In addition, educational programs focusing on climate change and zero waste are being delivered in local schools to raise awareness and instill a culture of environmental
responsibility among students.
