Projects of Sosyal İz Kadın Girişimi Üretim ve İşletme Kooperatifi

Although Sosyal İz Women’s Cooperative does not yet have a project that has been formally recognized in the field, the following initiatives are currently under development:

1. Smart and Climate-Resilient Home Care Services
Project Summary:
This project focuses on developing home care models for elderly and disabled individuals that are resilient to climate-related risks (e.g., extreme heat, disasters, isolation). These models are supported by digital systems such as sensor-based monitoring, remote care coordination, and data-driven service management.

Sustainability Aspect:
The model aims to reduce transportation needs, improve energy efficiency, and strengthen local service capacity—ultimately lowering the carbon footprint.

2. Development of Eco-Friendly Supportive Textiles (R&D)
Project Summary:
Medical textile products—such as bedsore-preventive sheets and washable positioning pillows—are being designed for bedridden patients and individuals with high-level disabilities. The materials used are domestic, breathable, and long-lasting.

Sustainability Aspect:
The project targets the reduction of single-use products, promotes the use of recyclable and eco-friendly materials, and aims to lower the volume of medical waste.

3. Generations Hand in Hand – Intergenerational Climate Awareness Program
Project Summary:
This local initiative brings together elderly individuals and children through activities such as gardening, upcycling, and storytelling. It aims to foster intergenerational solidarity while enhancing environmental awareness.

Sustainability Aspect:
The program contributes to the creation of an eco-conscious lifestyle by promoting recycling, the use of local seeds, and low-carbon practices.
