Under this law, the municipality has assumed significant duties and responsibilities in various critical areas for the city. Additionally, with Law No. 6360, supplementary duties have been assigned to the municipality to sustain its effective operations on urbanization.
The Konya Metropolitan Municipality,comprises 22 different departments operating in various fields, each department, with its unique duties and responsibilities, contributes to the development of the city, in order to meet the city's needs and provide the best service to its citizens, has a broad departmental structure.
