Seyhan is a central district of Adana province in Türkiye and is one of the oldest settlements in Adana and has been home to many civilizations throughout history. Located on the eastern bank of the Seyhan River, the district is the densest metropolitan district of Adana and the eighth most populous metropolitan district of the country with a population of 786,931, an area of 384 km² and a population density of 2049 people / km² according to the address-based census of 2024. It hosts 35% of Adana's total population. Since the district is located in the center of Adana, many official institutions and workplaces are located within the borders of the district. Therefore, its daytime population is over 1,000,000.
