PROJECTS:
Within the scope of waste management, Seyhan Municipality has a 1st Class Waste Collection Center, Compost Production Facility, Stray Animal Food Production Facility, End-of-Life Tire Recovery and Flexible Flooring Production Facility. The tracking and management of recyclable wastes throughout the district is provided through the mobile application named Separate-Recycle-Save (ADK).
In the municipality, research and development studies are carried out to produce thirst-resistant landscape plants suitable for the changing climatic conditions of the region, to minimize water consumption and increase yield by developing infrastructure and superstructure irrigation systems, to produce varieties that are difficult to reproduce, and to produce sustainable environmentally friendly plants with innovative production models.
It is aimed to raise awareness on environmental and climate problems by providing trainings that will create climate and environmental awareness in individuals of learning age.
