EU4ETTR Grant Project Ceremony in Çorlu

The Lithuanian Central Project Management Agency and Çorlu Municipality Signed The Grant Agreement!

Within the scope of the EU4 Energy Transition: Covenant of Mayors in the Western Balkans and Türkiye (EU4ETTR) project, the Grant given to ÇORLU Municipality and grant ceremony organised. The EU4ETTR Grant Project Ceremony was held on 6 May in Çorlu with the participation of the Mayor of Çorlu, representatives of the Municipality and high level representatives of CPMA. Çorlu's Small Scale Renewable Energy Application and Energy Transition project is poised to make a real difference, aiming to reduce carbon emissions by an impressive 40% by 2030. 

The project is intended to set an example for the energy saving efforts of Çorlu Municipality, which is a signatory of the Global Covenant of Mayors, to contribute to the municipality's Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP), to increase institutional capacity for energy transformation and the use of renewable energy resources, and to raise awareness of citizens on combating climate change, renewable energy and energy transformation.
